We love pets! And we love photographing them!

Pet Photography

As long-time pet owner, I know that pets are the most special friends in your life. Capturing great images of them helps us to enjoy and share our best friends. Ask us how we can do a session with you and your pet, to capture the images you are looking for, whether they be action shots, portraits, on-location or in—studio. every photo session is unique, so tell us about what you want.

Portraits In Studio

doing portraits in studio is great to control the light and the environment, and the final image is all about the your pet. Lots of beauty, lots of detail, and an image you can frame of your best friend.

Daisy and Piper.

These two are good acquaintances and were very comfortable sitting together for their moment in the spotlight. A studio session is great for controlling the light, and let us hightlight the best attributes of your dog, with beautiful bright eyes.

Sometimes a theme is what you are looking for. Leo was getting ready for Valentine’s Day in this session.

Newton in the studio.

Usually it takes a bit of trust and a few snacks to create a studio image of your friend.

Nova is so beautiful. A session in studio with a yellow backdrop really brightens this image and leaves you with a sense of joy.

Since Remy was so young, and we did not want to expose her to anything unwanted, I did Remy on location at her house where I was able to set up everything I needed for a full session. She was comfortable and really into the camera, a real superstar model!

Lifestyle and Action Portraits

Your pet has personality, and you want to express that. You want to see your dog in their favourite surroundings and doing dog things. On location, a pet portrait can include yourself, or it might be your friend being active and having fun. The style of portrait you choose should suit how you want to use your images, and how you want to display them.

Harvey.

Harvey the Morkie is a total sweetheart. I love small dogs because they are great for a variety of poses, from formal poses, all the way to handheld. Harvey loves the camera.

Rupert.

Rupert the Sheltie LOVES his owner, and posing with him was the best option for him. Adding some extra light in this forest setting really helps the subjects to pop and makes for a more dramatic image.

Garth.

Garth the Sheltie is young and very active and loves his time at the dog park. He loves nothing more than to show off his speed and he is always happy. He is a bit a of a ham for the camera.

A backlit gorgeous fall day hightlights Garth’s beautiful coat while the leaves add some fun and interest and make for more of a moment.

Mica is a very handsome Bernese-Pyrenese with the most amazing eyes you will see on any dog. The sun was just coming up, and the first light illuminated his face and eyes perfectly.
